SpectrAIR is an innovative spectroradiometer–based system specifically designed to give accurate measurements of several environmental parameters.

Together with the global solar spectral irradiance, SpectrAIR can provide the following parameters:
- Ozone column content
- Atmospheric turbidity
- Direct/diffuse radiation ratio
- Ground spectral albedo
- Photosynthetically active radiation (PAR)

By connecting the spectraradiometer to the pc, the system provides both real time global solar spectral irradiance data and the results of the atmospheric analysis.

The software offers many different functionalities, such as :
- handling of spectral and integral irradiance measurements, expressed in different units
- user interface for ground reflectance measurements (spectral albedo)
- spectral dosimetry function
- spectroradiometer and photobiologic action spectra database management
- automatic thermal noise compensation
- system programming for automatic periodic measurements
- data- data export into formats accepted by most of the existing data processing software (e.g. Excel, Origin,...)
